I used to wonder what was so fun at Singapore Turf club till I was invited over on Sunday 22 of May for the Singapore Airlines International Cup 2011 event.

It celebrates international horse racing in Singapore where non-racing fans alike can also look forward to this richest race in the region – the S$3 million SIA Cup and S$1 million KF sprint.

Started off with the opening segment of the Samba dancers, stillwalkers, and Turf Belles.

My favourite part was the new close up experience with the racing horses before the 2011 KrisFlyer International Sprint and Singapore Airlines International cup

The races were exhilarating.

The other best part was making new friends and mingling session with all the celebrities.

We took a short break and enjoyed Evening Refreshments with a delicious menu. Beer and house wine was served through the whole evening till the last race.

And of course the dinner session was overwhelmed by the beautiful girls too.

I also did an interview with Mediacorp Channel 5 and 8 at the end of this event after the last race.

The drizzling and hot weather didn’t stop any of us from having the fun. I believe many of us went home with smiles and great memories we had over there. And I’m actually already looking forward to the one next year.
