Krabi, Part 1

Flew off to Malaysia and Thailand last week for a lifestyle documentary photo shoot. I spent only a short while in KL and 2 nights in Krabi. I didn’t have extra time to tour around in KL because I had to fly off again early the next day. First day in Krabi was all about work then it was my happy holidays for the remaining two days. I actually delayed my flight after that to have all the fun I wanted; sightseeing, snorkeling, kayaking, and etc.

FIRST DAY. AO NANG BEACH

Working, relaxing, and exploring the areas.

Landed at Krabi airport then took a 30 minute ride to Ao Nang Beach. 600 Baht for a ride. Taxi or Tuktuk rate is quite expensive over there. If you know how to ride a bike then rent one. It’s about 100 baht a day.

Followed by fried banana.

Yumsss……

There is more happening at night in this areas actually.
More shopping. More foods… And surrounded by the tourists.

If you ever managed find these food carts below in Krabi, stop, buy and taste the yummiest thing in town!

It was not easy to find some of them. Only if you are lucky.

Oh… Did I mention anything about the monkey?
You pay around 100-150 baht to have as many photos as you want.

This monkey is female and she prefers to be held by a man. haha. cute.

THE NEXT DAY. HONG ISLANDS

Sightseeing, Kayaking, and Snorkeling.

Took the boat around 45 minutes to get there

Everything there was beautiful.

My favourite spot.

Because you can feed the fish and be surrounded by them in the shallow water.

so cute.

Next is Hong Lagoon, surrounded by rock formations with only one entrance and exit. The tour guide said that no one died here during the Tsunami and this place was filled with boats that managed to escape.

The water here is not deep. Just right.

This is also where we did kayaking from all the way from Hong Island, which took us 30 minutes. The amount of jellyfish while we were kayaking freaked me out! I had some bad experiences with them when I was younger.
