Sweet Home

It’s been 2 weeks since I came back to Bangkok. Besides some of my work I had to bring back with me, I have been spending quality time with my family and friends as usual.

There is also a new thing I’ve learned and experienced this week.
Taking care of the elderly is NOT easy for many reasons.

My family had my 85 year old grandma at our home for 2 days and I volunteered to take care of her when the others had something on. Two days wasn’t a long period but TOUGH enough to actually make me think of giving up. According to what a doctor said, my grandma is still able to walk well but her mind refuses not to walk without a walking stick or someone to hold her. Imagine, I had to force my stubborn grandma to walk without stressing her out. That’s just one example.

‘Emotional issues’ is the most difficult. So it’s VERY important to stay CALM while taking care of the elderly. More attention, care, love, and time. Do what it’s the best for the ones you love while there is still the chance. That’s all.

Let’s move to another topic.

Me, cam-whoring with my macbook and EX1 before I went out to meet some friends from SG. There is actually a lot more but you’d probably get bored of my face if I post every shots up here.

I think I curled my hair quite nice on that day.

Snap shot took by my brother. Love the lighting.

Around 3 plus, I went out to meet Adeline and her friend Jane at Chatujak/JJ weekend market. We had chicken noodle for late lunch then walked around. The weather was back to normal. HOT. It would have been nice if the weather was the same as 17th of March.

My favourite spot was at animals and pets section.

Adeline got a collar customized with name for her dog in a shop called ‘Modern Pet Accessories’ where there are few adorable dress-up puppies for you to play with while waiting. What a cute concept.

Couldn’t get my hands off this cutie. All of us, I mean.

This was my dinner. Favourite seafood.

What a lovely day I had. Looking for more…

Love. – nira

I volunteer weekly at a hospital and it’s very true, taking care of people can be a lot to handle. However, nothing is better than when they look at you and are happy that you’re helping them!

And you do NOT look chubby…oh my gosh, people are rude. Your hair color is beautiful!

  6. Hi, possibly i’m being a little off topic here, but I was browsing your site and it looks stimulating. I’m writing a blog and trying to make it look neat, but everytime I touch it I mess something up. Did you design the blog yourself? Could someone with little experience do it, and add updates without messing it up? Anyways, good information on here, very informative.

A pity, but I disagree with this story. I do delight in your personal weblog however and will continue to keep moving once more for update versions.

This is really a wonderful site, could you be interested in working on an interview about just how you produced it? If so e-mail me personally!
