Thailand, center of the hot weather, is surprisingly COLD today, 17th of March 2011. The average temperature in Bangkok during March is usually from 24°C – 32°C and supposed to be the beginning of summer. But the temperature in Bangkok this morning was 18°C, windy, cloudy skies and a light shower rain.
It was so cold that I felt like my whole house has the air-conditioner turned on, enough to just open only a FEW windows to sleep. Cold weather like this is usually happens in the North or Northeast of Thailand, not too often in Bangkok.
This is definitely one of those rare cool days I’ve experienced over here. My body was shivering. I guess Thais like me are not really used to the cold weather especially when I’m in Singapore. Where most of the time, it’s only HOT and RAIN. I have to say, I’m kinda enjoying it and feel very comfy under a warm blanket in this cool temperature today. It makes me love my bed even more.

The Global warming is the major cause of dropping temperature in Thailand. And it’s forecast to continue until tomorrow.
So I am hoping that tomorrow will be an even cooler day in Bangkok for the great ending of the best weather ever in March.
