Rome Italy, Part 1

I know I haven’t been updating my blog a lot lately but I will start to as of now. And this is a long post.

Last month was a really great month for me because I’ve spent 12 days with my family back in Bangkok. Family time is precious to me. I could easily tell how much they miss me by looking at their expression when they saw me and I miss them a lot too.

Also, my loved one brought me to ITALY! Yes, that was my very first time there. Thank you my love for making one of wish list comes true. Honestly speaking, it was the best trip I’ve ever had so far. I appreciate the thoughts, the efforts and the good times. -hearts-

So I’m going to share about my Italy trip right now. We’ve covered 4 beautiful cities in 9 days, starting from Rome, the greatest open-air museum in Europe. This city is full of history and culture.

Castel Sant’Angelo

This place is one of the town’s most famous landmarks and particularly position along the shore of the Tiber River.

Ok this is pretty random and funky stuff I saw over there. And I insist on sharing this with my readers. haha.

I should have bought one for souvenir.

Saint Peter’s Square (Piazza S. Pietro)

It represents the greatest basilica of the Christian world as well as the core of the Vatican city, the smallest state in the world.

Postcard anyone?

The Janiculum (Gianicolo)

This is one of the best locations in western Rome for a breathtaking view outside the ancient city yet it’s close to the historic center. I simply enjoyed the silence from the top.

Piazza Navona

One of Rome’s most impressive and popular squares, features more than three magnificent fountains.

Fountain of the four Rivers with Egyptian obelisk.

We also had our lunch there. Simple Italian food of course.

Do you know that Pizza originated in Italy?

It was simply one delicious meal. I’m satisfied just like that.

p.s.- Thank you mum for this beautiful bright dress.
Be back real soon for Part 2.

Love.- nira

Hi – found your website while traveling in Rome. Sorry to tell you this, but that is not the Trevino fountain. It is the fountain in piazza navona. I think it is called the fountain of the four rivers. The Trevino fountain is about a 15 minute walk from there.
